BACKGROUND

Fulton Hogan - A supply company providing top-quality construction products to industries for over 80 years. Their vision and purpose are to be a successful and enduring infrastructure business. Recently, Fulton Hogan has been focused on supporting mechanical and electrical plants.

PROJECT

Fulton Hogan has rolled out solar panel energy systems across eight locations around Australia. Collectively, a total of 2,365 individual solar panels with an output of 905 megawatts (MWh) of electricity a year. Which is equivalent to roughly 130 Australian households

XM2 EARTH SOLUTIONS

XM2 EARTH attended the site 6 months after installation to carry out thermal inspection using a Flir IR camera. To identify if any solar panels had issues.

While on-site, the team inspected other parts of the plant. The aerial inspection was timely and efficient. Our work enabled a cheaper and more reliable way of ensuring solar panel installation is working, without the need of people in dangerous situations.

We provided many photos for historical routine check referencing. Our team had pre-programmed flights for continued routine checks into the future.
